4 CANS TOMATO PASTE
5 CUPS WATER
1 CUP APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
1/2 CUP CORN SYRUP
2 TABLESPOONS CHILI POWDER
1 TABLESPOON KOSHER SALT OR CANNING SALT
1/2 TEASPOON RED PEPPER
1/2 TEASPOON HOT PEPPER SAUCE

PLACE INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE NONREACTIVE POT. BRING TO A BOIL.
LET SIMMER UNTIL IT BEGINS TO THICKEN. POUR INTO STERILIZED
HALF PINT JARS. PLACE IN BOILING WATER BATH FOR 10 MINUTES.
REMOVE AND COOL. GREAT TO USE ON GROUND BEEF INSTEAD OF THE
DRY PACKAGED SEASONING. CAN ALSO BE USED JUST AS A SAUCE OR DIP.
